Documenting my local community and their influence on the energy of the area, the fringe of the northern Pennines. Portraying the people who helped define this area and make up it’s rich community. The doorstep of their home or place of work the setting for each portrait. A photo on a doorstep is historic as it holds the memories connected to the period of time when that is your home. Taken before Covid 19 when ‘Doorstep’ photos became a ‘thing’.
